There would be no one but me. Or so I thought. But as usual, my place was taken by him. I thought to be experienced enough to be the boyscout Children section leader, but no… my fellow buddies, my father, and the Leaders chose him.
What does Megatron have more than I do? Why does the choice always fall on him?
In so many years, probably now I know what it is all about: responsibility. That’s something he has, his virtue; I don’t. I have to grow up still, I’m too much impulsive and rash when it comes to decisions. That’s why I think I could never have a chance to be a boyscout leader. Nor a Robocity Leader, like that hothead of big brother I got (Shotfire). Probably I’m always going to be a looser, or a second choice for everyone. Miriam’s the only one who deeply trusts me, and who knows I’m going to improve and mature with time.
It’s true. I’m too much of a child still. I’d need to grow up and become more resposible if I want to be a leader, either way.
And Megatron’s my friend. Maybe he can teach me something. Maybe he’s the only one who can teach me how to be responsible of others’ wellbeing. He’s in charge all the time, at home and with Leadership. And he’s much better than my brother at it.
